A community masjid in the heart of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania — devoted to worship, education, and building brotherhood upon the way of the earliest Muslims.
Muwahhideen was formed in 2013 to promote and facilitate the knowledge and practice of Islam in accordance with the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, based upon the understanding of the companions of the Prophet.
Masjidul Muwahhideen serves Muslims in the Harrisburg area with the five daily prayers, nightly and weekend classes for adults and youth, and regular lectures and gatherings that build knowledge and unity within the community.
Our doors are open to everyone — new Muslims, longtime members, and visitors alike.
“Whoever treads a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to Paradise.”
Our mission is to worship Allah alone, to follow His Messenger ﷺ, and to understand the religion the way the Sahaba and the two generations after them — the Salaf As-Salih — understood it, free from innovation, extremism, and cultural distortion.
• Authentic knowledge grounded in the Book and the Sunnah
• A safe environment for families and youth
• Service to the wider Harrisburg community
